Teddy Bear Pookimos are people oriented, intelligent, easy going, full of humor but affectionate and loyal to the family. They are good with small children and pets at home. Friendly, loyal and affectionate this dog is worth loving. They make a great family dog. Good with all ages from children to the elders. These dogs love to be around their family and make a good companion to their people. They have an eager to please attitude and are good and even tempered. Pookimos are a cross between a mini American Eskimo and a mini Poodle. They are non shedding and make wonderful companions children!!
At Teddy Bear Pups we only raise one breed of puppy "Pookimos" and only produce one litter a year. We have one breeding male and one breeding female who are spoiled family members who sleep in our beds every night. Our goal is to produce healthy puppies that are larger than the designer "Pocket Pups" so that families with children can have a cute, cuddly, non shedding Teddy Bear that is sturdy and kid tough. They are wonderful dogs that can romp, go for walks on a leash, fetch, cuddle and play at the dog park without getting hurt.
Our daddy dog is an 8 lb Miniature Poodle who is 11" tall at the shoulder. Our mama dog is a Miniature American Eskimo who is 13" at the shoulder and weighs 15 lbs. At maturity our Pookimos should weigh between 7 - 15 pounds.
All puppies leave our home with tails docked, dew claws removed, up to date on vaccinations, two wormings and a health certificate from our veterinarian. They are guaranteed for any genetic health issues for two years. Every pup will be very well socialized, raised entirely in our house and started on potty training. We can deliver puppies within a 100 mile radius for an extra fee.
